Weekend Wrap-Up

Happy Monday! This past weekend was one of the best I've had in a long time. It's when things go wrong that you realize who the people are in your life that matter. I'm blessed with an amazing boyfriend. He wanted to make sure I enjoyed every second of those 48 hours.
We spent Saturday at a little place called Murrells Inlet. We had lunch on the Marsh Walk, and enjoyed the scenery. The tide was so low that we could see the oysters on the bank. The restaurant we decided to dine at was a place called "Dead Dog Saloon, so good! After lunch, we decided to have a cocktail on the porch at this little bar. There was a starving artist playing some unique music, a lady creating necklaces from shark teeth, and drinks galore. The best part... rocking chairs! We sat out on the porch rocking for about 30 minutes, staring at an island filled with goats and Peacock's. Yes, I'm serious.
Sunday we spent the morning/early afternoon at the beach... tubing, tanning, and relaxing. It was perfection. Last night a friend came over to watch The Bachelorette finale! *Spoiler Alert* She chose Jef

That's my weekend wrapped up into a tiny blog post. Here are some pictures to indulge your curiosity.

I'm not sure if you can see it, but look left.. It's a pirate ship!

Oyster shells everywhere!

My new favorite saying.

This is the "Goat & Peacock Island". Fancy, huh?

How was your weekend? Do anything adventurous?

Autobiography.

It's been a great week and a very lazy Saturday today. I am starting classes on Tuesday and one of my first assignments is to write an autobiography. Oh, joy. I am terrible when it comes to writing about myself, but it must be done. The professor sees it as a way for my online classmates to get to know me (maybe I should just submit my Twitter handle..lol). I have been pondering all day what I am going to write about, and how much information I'm willing to give up to these unknowns. It's time to get started and while I write, I've decided I need a little background music.

How fitting.

Enjoy your weekend y'all!

Wear the Peace

There is a hot new business in Orlando, Florida, and the owner of Wear the Peace, Meghan Arnold has big plans for her creations. We all know that fashion headbands are trendy, but Meghan’s twist on them has everyone’s head turning. Every piece that is made is 100% hand-crafted by Meghan herself. The amazing thing about her merchandise is that no two pieces are the same. “If you see something you like, buy it, because it could be gone the next day, and once it’s gone, it’s gone. My customers will feel confident wearing their item knowing they are the only person that has It.”, said Meghan. Wear the Peace currently has headbands for women, teens, and children. Meghan’s plans for her small, but growing business is to open a boutique in the Orlando area within five years. She aspires to make a men’s line as well, which will include bracelets and armbands. Not only are her pieces fashionable and unique, but they are also very affordable. Prices range from $6.00 to $18.00 – shipping is available as well.
